Chris was the rocket scientist and I was the Rockette. So the rocket scientist and the Rockette married… found each other and fell in love.

And we were dancing this one day, suddenly he began to speak. He said, “I’m not so good anymore… and you are.” and he says, “Thank you for taking such good care of me. I love you so much.”

Can you imagine suddenly having your husband who hasn’t spoken in three months suddenly say those words?

I would like to know that there would have been hospice there from early on. I didn’t know that.

They not only helped Chris and his needs, but they helped me. Can you imagine being married and loving somebody for fifty years? I just feel it’s my turn to help him wherever I can. We’re still on the journey with hospice.
