Times of sadness and grief are a fact of life. Suncoast Hospice is dedicated to helping you live through these transitions with peace and hope for the future.
When you are finding your way through the changes that a death has brought to your life, you don't have to do it alone. From sorting out your feelings to understanding the grieving process and figuring out how to live each day, your neighborhood hospice's Center for Loss and Healing can help with practical information and compassionate support.
Grief support and counseling is available to everyone in our community - you do not have to receive other hospice services to take part in our programs.
If you are grieving the death of someone due to illness, accident, violence, suicide or any other cause, call us at (727) 467-7423 or contact us online.
- Children and teens grieve too. At home, at school or at camp, our innovative Child and Family Support Program can help.
- Work one on one with a grief counselor to find your way through grief with private, individualized care.
- Find community, fight isolation, share your story, and learn about the grief process through a grief support group facilitated by a professional counselor.
- Reflect and remember a life at a community memorial service. Services are non-denominational and open to all.
- Find solace and support as you grieve the loss of a pregnancy or infant through our specialized perinatal loss services.
- When a tragic event such as a sudden death affects your school, workplace, or neighborhood, our crisis intervention team will help your group cope with on-site trained professionals providing counseling, support, and information.
- Grief goes to work, too. Workplace programs help business teams learn more about how grief affects employees. On-site grief support groups give employees a place to heal as they continue their work life.
