Your gift stays close to home.
You can make a difference in your community - all it takes is a donation to The Hospice Foundation of the Florida Suncoast. Chances are that your family or someone you know has already benefited from services offered by The Hospice. After all, we've been helping the people of Pinellas County since 1977 and have grown to become the nation's leading not-for-profit hospice organization.

Sharing your gifts with your community
Your gift to The Hospice will be used wisely and put to work locally.
- Nearly 90% of our financial resources directly benefit the people we serve (The remainder fund our essential administrative operations).
- Your gift will stay right here in your community, making it possible for us not only to continue our existing programs but to develop new services as needs arise.
Your contribution can be personal and unique as you choose.
- Honor the memory of a loved one with a Memorial Gift. Your gift is acknowledged with a commemorative certificate, sent to whomever you would like.
- Commemorate a birthday, say "thank you," or otherwise acknowledge a special person with an In Honor of Gift. The honoree will receive a card announcing your gift.
- Provide for The Hospice in the future with a Deferred or Planned Gift-a gift you designate for The Hospice to receive such as a bequest, trust, annuity, or insurance policy.
- Encourage your company or organization to sponsor a fundraising Special Event like the annual Hospice Ball, The Hospice Golf Classic, The Hospice Beach Stroll, or The Hospice Fashion Show.
- Purchase a Gift Plaque for $500 or more to be displayed at one of The Hospice Community Service Centers.
- Join our Circle of Caring with a yearly gift of $1,000 or more from an individual, business or organization. Your name will be included on our donor Wall of Honor. Lifetime gifts totaling $100,000 or more will be permanently commemorated.
- Choose a Naming Opportunity by making a special gift of $25,000 or more, permanently recognizing a special person or organization by naming a room, library or center in their honor.
As we are not-for-profit, your donation is tax deductible, and there may be further tax advantages with carefully planned giving. Should you decide to give, you may contribute by check or credit card, by mail, phone or online, or by Electronic Funds Transfer.
