Intake and Eligibility (I & E) Case Manager

Position Description

At AIDS Services Association of Pinellas County, the Intake and Eligibility (I & E) Case Manager meets with potential clients to determine clients’ eligibility for case management services and if deemed eligible, completes the appropriate paperwork and service plan. If the client is deemed not eligible, the I & E Case Manager refers the client into available community resources. In addition, the I & E Case Manager maintains a reduced caseload of current clients.

Position Requirements

1. Minimum of two years experience working in the HIV services field.
2. Bachelor’s Degree.
3. Must be a Project AIDS Care (PAC) provider or eligible to apply for provider number.
4. Current driver’s license, automobile insurance and accessibility to a vehicle.
5. Flexibility to attend meetings and trainings which may fall outside the regularly assigned workday.
6. Excellent communication skills and ability for detail.
7. Sensitivity to cultural differences and alternative sexual orientations to include the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender Communities.
8. Sensitivity to the psychosocial issues concerning individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
