Seminole ― The community is invited to participate in the
Stepping Up 4 Kids 1-mile and 5K fun run, March 4, 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., Holland G.
Mangum Recreation Complex, 9100 113th St. N, Seminole. This family-friendly race supports
Suncoast Hospice’s Stepping Stones children and families program. Stepping Stones provides care to seriously-ill children and support for their families as well as grief support for families who’ve had loved ones die. Last year the inaugural event raised more than $5,000 in support of the children’s program at Suncoast Hospice.
The fun run is part of the festivities of the City of Seminole Pow Wow festival and parade. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. with the 5-k race begins 7:30 a.m. and the 1-mile at 9 a.m. Registration fees are $15 for the 1-mile and $25 for the 5K. Register that morning or online at
