Suncoast Hospice Earns Accreditation as Jewish Hospice Program

The National Institute for Jewish Hospice has given the Toby Weinman Jewish Hospice Program, a partnership between Suncoast Hospice and Menorah Manor, the designation as an accredited Jewish Hospice Program. 
 

Clearwater The Toby Weinman Jewish Hospice Program, a partnership of Suncoast Hospice and Menorah Manor of St. Petersburg, has received accreditation as a Jewish hospice program from National Institute for Jewish Hospice. Only 55 such programs in the U.S. and Canada have earned this distinction.

Suncoast Hospice has cared for Jewish patients and their families throughout Pinellas County for many years. Its goal is to provide comfort and support which includes spiritual care that honors Jewish beliefs and customs at the end of life. This accreditation confirms its commitment to meeting the needs of Jewish patients and families.

Stacy Orloff, vice president of palliative care and community programs, shares, "This is a prestigious accreditation for hospices who serve Jewish patients. I am pleased that the Toby Weinman Jewish Hospice Program has been recognized as a quality provider of palliative and hospice care for Jewish patients and their families in our community."
