Supporting the work of Suncoast Hospice and our network of affiliates makes it possible for us to fulfill our mission and vision as being a leader in hospice, palliative and end-of-life care and services. From resources and education to AIDS services and technology solutions, Suncoast Hospice is able to extend its outreach and offer comprehensive services through the expertise of our family of organizations.

Suncoast Hospice Foundation


Established in 1983, Suncoast Hospice Foundation strives to honor our community’s sacred trust by ensuring that 82 percent of every dollar donated goes directly to program services. Suncoast Hospice’s mission is to provide all residents of Pinellas County hospice care regardless of their ability to pay, and we depend on the generous support of our community to provide this care.
 
Suncoast Hospice Foundation sustains the work of Suncoast Hospice through the foundation’s financial stewardship, education and advocacy.

  • Donations to our food pantries or Resale Shoppes

Suncoast Hospice Institute


The Suncoast Hospice Institute provides training and consultation based on its end-of-life research to hospices and palliative care professionals around the world.
 
Sharing knowledge based on best practices and solid research, its mission is to influence the way individuals, organizations and communities care for each other near life’s end.

The Institute recently launched an online learning management system that provides faster access to customized training for hospice workers and volunteers worldwide.

Project GRACE


Project GRACE is a community resource that provides individuals, families, professionals and groups advance-care planning services, training and assistance with writing a living will.
 
Its mission is to promote planning that respects and honors each individual’s wishes, values and spiritual beliefs.

Services include:
  • Advance-care planning documents and assistance for families
  • Community resource library
  • Community, corporate and faith group presentations
  • Professional training for healthcare, legal and faith professionals

ASAP


For more than 20 years the AIDS Service Association of Pinellas, Inc. (ASAP) has supported those infected or affected by HIV/AIDS by providing direct services, prevention education and advocacy.
 
Its services include:
  • HIV/AIDS education
  • HIV testing and counseling
  • Case management
  • Food and personal needs pantry
  • Brighter Seasons for Children program
  • Limited emergency financial assistance

ASAP is a community-funded organization that offers many opportunities for volunteer involvement and support, such as the AIDS Walk St. Petersburg, Dining Out for Life, the Santa Speedo Run and the World AIDS Day Prayer Breakfast.
